Cheryl Cole Set to Spend Christmas Alone this Year as Husband Goes to Football Traning
Singer Cheryl Cole has revealed that she spends Christmas morning without her husband.
The X Factor star, who is married to England footballer Ashley Cole, said that he will leave her for a few hours on Christmas Day because he has to train for his Boxing Day match.
Cheryl Cole told Bang Showbiz: “He spends Christmas on the training ground. It’s not very romantic. He opens his presents and then goes off to his training happy.”
She added that she is looking forward to having a traditional Christmas with her family after a busy year with Girls Aloud, the launch of her solo career and her reality TV judge role.
“I just want to spend Christmas with my family and my dogs. Then maybe go somewhere sunny,” she said.
