Whether your skin will tighten after you undergo a liposuction procedure, depends on many factors. The first one is your individual skin elasticity. The skin types are different in different people. Your skin may be elastic and easily recoverable. It may as well be loose and hard to reach its previous tautness.
The second factor depends on the type of liposuction procedure that you choose. There are special liposuction procedures which add for the better recovery of the skin after the operation itself. They are basically known as superficial liposuction procedures. Superficial liposuction treats the skin after the fat reduction operation has taken place. There are two types of superficial liposuction. The first one is skin excision. This includes cutting of small amounts of the skin to reduce slacking. Some surgeons may even put their patients on a compression garment: a special garment, which helps the skin to retain its elasticity. The other procedure is done by using a laser. The third factor depends basically on the preparation of your body system. If you do regular exercise before the operation, your skin will have more elasticity to recover after the fat reduction. That is why extremely obese patients are required to take on a diet and exercise several months before the operation itself. This can be done in a hospital, under the supervision of a physician, for acquiring better results. Another thing is that the liposuction procedure cannot remove fats more than 5 liters, even with extreme obesity.

2) The Arm Liposuction. The skin on the back of the arm does not tighten very easily, that’s why superficial liposuction is largely used. It is necessary with older patients because if the lack of collagen in their back arms. Brachioplasty is the only procedure that deals successfully with reducing the skin looseness. It is done by making large incisions on the underside area of the arm. It comprises excising the redundant tissue and pulling the flaps together. Brachioplasty, though, involves large risk of lymphedema. It is because the ductwork of the lymphatic system is largely removed by the deep incisions.
3) Abdominal Liposuction. Lax skin on the lateral side of the abdomen is largely removed using superficial operations. But large skin looseness and abdominal muscle tightness should be operated using a special technique called abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck. We hear this word so often and have one thing stuck in our mind - it’s either a bad thing or a good thing. The other issue is: do we believe in Karma? Regardless of whether we believe in that word or not, it is still there. Karma plays a big part in our experiences and life lessons. Even if the “word” Karma does not exist in your personal vocabulary, karma still exists in your life.
By human nature, we usually drive ourselves to learn things the hard way. That’s fine, and I can relate to that, but learning the hard way is one thing - repeating it over and over again from one experience to another is another thing. Have we ever asked ourselves why we keep running into the same experiences over the course of our life? For some people their way is by saying, “Well, it’s just our karma.” It is kind of an escape hatch created by a lack of understanding of what karma means in the first place.
I guess it is all right to run through an experience once or twice, but more than that becomes a bit habit forming and repetitive don’t you think? We usually understand an experience by being able to integrate it into our own surrounding environment. From time to time, maybe we need to check our environment. Things usually start with us, and our perception of who we are.
In my personal experience, my brothers were always telling me about how I should have stability in my life and how I should maintain a job for more than two years. Every time they gave me that piece of advice, although it sounded great and made sense at the moment, I was not able to relate to it. Beyond that moment I basically was not able to understand stability and how to integrate it into my environment. Somehow, every time any suggestion of stability showed up in front of me, a new idea or a change in residence made me go in a different direction. That is the story of my life.
In the beginning, I blamed it on my karma and used it as an easy way out. But somehow with time, I decided to investigate it at a deeper level. I was lucky and learned about my own vibration through Numerology. It was my way out, a means of salvation. My conception and understanding of stability started to guide me to having a different perspective on my life.
The number four (4) in numerology represents stability, structure, and organization. That number is a missing number from my own vibration. What does this all mean in relation to my own situation? Every time someone tries to explain, or have me understand something that I have no definition of in my own personal experience, it was hard for me to comprehend what was being presented. Number four seems to be a challenge for me to understand all of my life. Now for the good news! I can now relate to that number. I am starting to apply a new mechanism and made an extra effort to learn it - I am changing my concept of things. I am not saying it is an easy process but at least I can now distinguish the importance of the “word” stability and am working my way through it in a new light. Can I still say it is my Karma? Yes I can, but in this case karma is a good thing when it comes to our soul’s evolution.
The universe will always put someone in our pathway. Whether it is a brother, a sister, a child, a girlfriend or a boyfriend, allow your heart to accept them and mainly listen to what they are saying and try to not take it as a criticism. Do not underestimate a child’s message because children will always sees us at our face value and without any superficiality attached. I always feel grateful to my brothers, my family, and every person that approaches me during the course of my life. Even if it is difficult some times to accept their message. Learn to appreciate the people around you even if YOU think they are tough on you. Sometimes we need to learn and look at it from their perspective too. Life is not always easy, but it is fun to be part of it.
There are two different kinds of Karma. There is Karma for our soul evolution, and also karma between people.
Karma of the soul plays a big part in the story of my life. This type of Karma is more difficult for other people surrounding us to understand. Usually, people will have a harder time at appreciating our situation. They will find it difficult to understand and wonder why we don’t see our situation in the same way as they do. But the interesting part of all of this is that what we see, many times, doesn’t make any sense to them, so the cycle of life keeps turning until we recognize our own situation. There is no right or wrong here. It is all part of our learning process that is called life. We are the only master of our Karma here regardless how many years it will take us to understand it.
Karma between people is something else; it can happen within the same family, with friends, or any kind of relationship between people. These situations can take us to any level we want them to. In the end, even if we are running into the worst-case scenarios with someone, instead of saying it is our karma, the solution is simply to say “…but what are we doing about it?” In reality it is up to us, and how we react to the situation. Are we exaggerating the situation and making a mountain out of a molehill? Do we just shut down altogether or do let it just slide off our backs? These types of Karma are in reality carried from a past life. When we look at karma and see the bigger picture can we acknowledge the added strength we gain? Hopefully we can realize how it brings to our life a reward much greater than the experience itself. A simple exercise of stepping outside of our selves, and having a bird’s eye view, may hold many rewards and can help spotlight lots for us to try and understand. So regardless of which karma we are dealing with, it still is karma?
Karma deals with the law of cause and effect. Everything that happens to us (effect) has had a previous cause. The evolution of karmic law means that we can be master of our own destiny. Your karmic lessons in life reflect the qualities that you either lack, or are weak in, and are those hindering your success. They indicate experiences or obligations that you have avoided, or were not even aware of, from which you managed to escape in some past life. They now crop up in your present life as obstacles to your success, unless you make a conscious effort to conquer them.
We have only to remember that karma is a phase of experiences, or lessons that meets us at every cross road in our life. We do not like it because we do not know it. We fear it because we are ignorant of the advantages it may bring us. If we wait for life to teach us about it, we would first become more acquainted with, and have a better understanding of, its more difficult side. If we accept it willingly and consciously, we may benefit from it in every experience we encounter on the course that we call life.
We appreciate life when we are on good terms “with ourselves” and not only when we are having “good experiences”. Look back on the toughest lessons in your life, and see if you still see them in the same terms as before.

You can pretend to ignore them, that you’re impervious to them, but that’s just not so, is it?

So you passed with flying colors, did you? Admit it. You’re as “into” taglines as the rest of us. Why? Because taglines capture a company’s spirit in one clever little phrase. They’ve become an invaluable tool for briefly communicating critical business information and developing brand and name recognition.
But how does one dream up these little ditties that stay with us so long? The bigger question may be: how do you - as a business owner, marketing professional, salesperson or anyone, for that matter - create the perfect tagline for your company or client?
First, know your target audience
Understand various benefits your target audience is looking for and rank them in order of importance to begin developing your tagline.
Define your target response
What outcome do you want to create … what do you want your audience to think or say?
Brainstorm… brainstorm… brainstorm
Write a list of words or phrases that communicate your idea and that also tie to your logo or a visual you’re using.
Look up the words in a dictionary and write down different uses of the word and cross-references to other words.
Use that list to generate new ideas.
Cut the list to your top few favorites.
Then “play” with the words by using tools like rhyming or alliteration.
Simplify… Simplify… Simplify…
Simplicity adds power. People tend to remember the simplest slogans. Communicate your message quickly, using active verbs.
Rewrite… Rewrite… Rewrite…
Once you complete your initial drafts, set them aside. Come back later and review them. You’ll probably want to make changes. Keep the process going. When you’ve got it, you’ll know it!
Finally … a few quick DOs and DON’Ts to keep in mind when creating a winning tagline:
DO collect other company’s taglines and analyze what works and what doesn’t work. (Remember that test you just took? What made those taglines so memorable?)
DO start by developing a list of what’s unique to what you do and your way of doing it.
DON’T use hip or esoteric taglines. (You want lots of people to understand it … not just a few.)
DON’T make your tagline too general.
DO your own mini-market research. Ask strangers (and acquaintances) if they understand your business after seeing and hearing your tagline.
DO use your specific target audience in your tagline, if possible.
DO keep it short.
DO turn the phrase around. If you can’t say it without skipping a step, then rephrase it.

Moving from a branch manager role into an area manager position for the first time is certainly challenging. One moment they are managing a team of about 10 to 20 people, the next moment they are managing an area team of over 200 employees.
As a branch manager they were able to see their team every day but seeing people periodically and having to manage at a distance is certainly a shock for many newly appointed area managers. So what are the skills of area management and what training should be arranged early on, to ensure a newly appointed area manager becomes effective as quickly as possible?
Management by Objectives - is the critical skill of area management. Being able to set clear measurable objectives is a key requirement of the role as objectives cut across every aspect of area management. From day one, area managers will be given area objectives to achieve by the boss and they must be able to set improvement and development objectives for their managers from the beginning. Management by objectives is critical because it is the only performance and development tool that ‘works at a distance’. Area managers will never be fully successful without this critical skill.
Management Development - Newly appointed area managers immediately become responsible for the development of the area management team. Up to the time they were appointed they will have had little experience of deliberate management development so the skills of training, coaching and mentoring need to be learnt and learnt quickly. Area managers not only need to be able to develop managers they need to be able to develop their branch manager’s skills in coaching, training and mentoring also, no easy task.
Performance Management - Newly appointed area managers have probably been appointed with little real experience of performance management. So when he/she has to deal with manager underperformance, they find it extremely difficult going. Newly appointed area managers need a thorough understanding and be skilled in the use of the performance management tools. They need comprehensive training in; performance appraisals, objective reviewing, performance improvement planning and disciplinary skills. Area managers also need thorough training in assertiveness as this is a skill that needs to be learnt. Very few organisations recognise this and give little or no training in these critical skill areas. There is another important reason why area managers need to be fully competent in performance management - they have to develop the performance management skills of their branch managers. Many branch managers fail to address performance issues today because their area managers have never shown them how to do it properly. This is because they themselves have never been developed in this critical skill area.
Influencing Behavour - Area managers need to be able to effectively address negative, business or team damaging behavior at branch manager level. There are many branches that statistically indicate good performance but could perform even better if the manager behaved more professionally. Newly appointed area managers will often have to address unproductive (lazy), unsupportive, unmotivated branch managers. They may also have to overcome resentment and other negative attitudes because the newly appointed area manager got the job and they didn’t. Many newly appointed area managers try to win over their managers by trying to be liked rather than respected.
This results in real problems when the area manager has to become more ‘formal’ at a later date. Getting too close or too familiar with branch managers is a mistake which many more seasoned area managers admit to making.
Self Development and Learning - Once a newly appointed area manager has been given their initial training everything will depend on their ability to learn and develop whilst doing the job. Many senior retail execs think that throwing newly appointed area managers in at the deep end will result in them either sinking or swimming (developing) but what often happens is non-self-developers tread water and become experts in doing so. Newly appointed area managers have to be set SMART self development objectives and held to account for the achievement of them. This is the only effective way of measuring a newly appointed area managers self development and self learning ability.
Area Managers are exceptionally important to every retail business. They influence many and are often the difference between profit or loss over a huge part of the business. This means they need to be given the right training and support from the very beginning of their appointment.

Sound familiar? Well if not, don’t sweat it. The point of bringing that to your attention is that it is both possible and relatively easy to turn nothing into something, and make money very quickly once you have the knowledge. Now, I’m not going to promise that if you dropped me in the middle of the Amazon, in the midst of the rainy season, with no guide, and a tribe of man eating pygmies chasing after me, that I could figure out how to make $1000 in 48 hours.
But…in 48 hours, I could create a product from scratch, and sell it for a profit with less than $100 bucks to my name; as long as I had a PayPal account, an Amazon.com account and I was within a short distance to a library. Why the library? Because assuming that I’m so hard up that I don’t even own a
computer with an Internet connection, I could head over to the local library and use theirs for free. Bottom line, is you don’t need much at all if you have the know how.
So, let’s break this baby out and see what sticks.
First, what do I need in order to market online and make money, much less be profitable in 48 hours? Ok, I need a product (I know…brilliant aren’t I?), I need a way to take in money (see PayPal above), I need a store (web site) to sell it from, and I need customers (once again…brilliant John). And while I may be simplifying a touch, if I have these things, I have an income producing business, without starting with buckets of cash, a computer or Internet connection, a web site, or even a list.
Now for some quick clarification, and then we’re off to the races. I did NOT say that I would make $1000 in 48 hours…I said I would be profitable in 48 hours. The distinction here, is rather than try to do something where the odds are really stacked against you, why not develop one profitable ‘venture’ and when up and running, duplicate the process over and over again? This is attainable for anyone with a little will power and even littler resources.
And on we go…I’ve laid out the basic necessities and the first of that group that I need to address would be a product. Keeping in mind that I only have 48 hours, I would need to be thinking about a report that I could write in a few hours or so…a big ole ebook would be out of the question, as would marketing someone else’s stuff (because I wouldn’t see cash from them in at least 30 days), so it would
need to be a 10-12 (or so) page report.
This report would need to be about something that people were really interested in, A) because I’m short on time and B) to make money on 10-12 pages of product. Do I need to be insanely creative to work through this? Nope. I need to focus on things that cause people pain…things that people want to fix…things that they would research online. And I would need to be able to help them in that 10-12 pages. Impossible? Nope again.
So…what would be something of pain that I could whip up a report about? Well, people are vain, people like to look good, smell good, feel good, etc, etc. People are embarrassed by bad credit or worried that their home is going to be foreclosed on. These are general topics to start brainstorming. To help determine which is the best way to go, utilize a Keyword tool, such as the one provided by
Overture to see what people are searching for online -

This free tool will tell you how much a specific keyword or keyword phrase was searched on in the previous month, in Yahoo and their partners. If it’s in the thousands you’re solid. Google’s numbers will likely be even greater since they basically own Internet searches. I won’t go into detail here about building a keyword list, but this is where you start.
Back to my ‘challenge’…I need a product and I’ve thought about people and their pain…as well as their immediate desire to alleviate that pain. Well, oddly enough, today I was at a store and when the clerk spoke to me I was almost knocked off my feet by the smell of his breath. Almost 4 feet away he was noticeable. So, how about Bad Breath?
I run a search on my Overture tool and guess what? Over 21,000 searches in March, 2006 for ‘Bad Breath’…several thousand more for various plays on the phrase, including many for pet breath (possibly a follow up product? Hmmm). People do get into their pets. And if they’re searching online for breath remedies for them…betcha they will drop a few bucks on a report if it could help them solve the problem. Starting to get it?
Ok, product picked. Now to research and write it. You need to make sure your product actually helps the people with their pain or you are not going to hold onto any of that money you will be bringing in. Researching topics for free is really so much easier than people think. If you have the time and the resources you may want to outsource this task to elance.com or rentacoder.com but in this case I can find hundreds of resources with a little something called Search Inside.
