It seems to be in vogue these days to downplay the importance of web traffic. It’s popular (and perfectly valid) to say things like: “Traffic is worthless if you don’t turn it into money.”
Excellent point, but this assumes that you actually have some traffic to begin with. Each step of the Internet Marketing Process is not just important - it’s required for success. So, let’s focus today on getting traffic to your site, and remember:
A. Getting traffic to your site is like putting gas in your car. You can have a great engine, but it won’t go anywhere without the gas. Likewise, you can have a perfect sales letter - but without traffic, it’s just pretty to look at.
B. The highest traffic sites of the world do not just get a little more traffic than the next guy - they get exponentially more traffic than the next guy. For example, according to Media Metrix, AOL’s network weighed in at #1, getting more traffic than any other site in the world in April of 2001. Amazon was ranked #10. Both are top ten sites… And the difference? AOL had 89,000,000 visitors that month and Amazon had 19,000,000. That’s a whopping difference of 70,000,000 visitors between the #1 site and the #10 site.
Interestingly, the higher up the ranks you go, the greater the gap between each site.
So, what’s the difference? Why is it that the better a site gets, the further behind it leaves its closest competitor? Here are their secrets:
1. They Set Up “Multiple Streams of Traffic”
Back in 1995 I observed an interesting phenomenon. I found that the likelihood of someone responding to your website was highly dependent on the path they took to get there.
People may ask you “what is the conversion rate of your website,” but that is really an irrelevant question. Conversion rates are meaningless unless they take into consideration how someone gets to your website. (Test this yourself and you’ll find it to be true.)
So, I coined the phrase “All Clicks are Not Created Equal.” For example, traffic from a site recommending your product is more likely to generate a sale than traffic from a site criticizing your product. That’s an extreme example, but you get the point, right?
When people discover this, their natural tendency is to start getting picky about how they get their traffic. Why waste your time on traffic that won’t generate a sale, right?
If you’re paying for advertising, this makes perfect sense. However, many people mistakenly throw away traffic from free sources as a result.
High traffic sites never throw away traffic and constantly endeavor to set up new traffic streams.
Let’s take the worst possible traffic source imaginable: FFA pages. Traffic from FFA ads is extremely sparse. To make matters worse, this traffic is rarely the source of an immediate sale. Very little amounts of the lowest quality traffic in the world - yep, I think that qualifies it as the worst possible traffic source.
If, however, you have an automated FFA promotion going that doesn’t take you any time to maintain and still brings in traffic, should you throw it away?
Maybe not…
I still have in place free automatic traffic building sources that I set up years ago. Much of the traffic that comes from these free sources is of low quality, but hey, I don’t lift a finger to get it any more.
Most super-high-traffic sites are constantly working on new ways to bring in traffic - many of which are not very sophisticated at all. Even Yahoo, for example, uses a low-budget “tell a friend” script on their site to encourage people to forward articles to their friends. Does Yahoo care that anyone can do this with a free CGI script? Of course not. It’s just one of thousands of traffic sources they’ve established.
When you read #3 below, you’ll realize why “low-quality” traffic may not be so bad after all…
Remember, though, if you’re paying for “cheeseburger” traffic, don’t pay a steak-and-lobster price. Better: get your cheeseburger traffic for free from as many automated sources as you can.
2. They Use Viral Marketing
“Viral Marketing” was the vogue buzz-phrase of 1999. Several books have been written on the subject in hopes of cracking the code, but still very few sites are taking advantage of this incredible concept.
Viral Marketing is any type of marketing that encourages people to spread your marketing message around for you.
Think about this - it sure would be great if people advertised your product for you, wouldn’t it? It beats the heck out of paying for advertising.
Here’s a viral marketing story for you:
When I started the e-book marketing craze back in 1995 with the release of “Search Engine Tactics,” I promoted the book with a very simple viral marketing scheme.
Here’s what I did:
I put a note in the book itself that everyone was granted permission to give away or even sell the book on their sites. They would benefit by giving something of value to their visitors - I would benefit by advertising products in the book. The people that they gave it to saw the note in the book, and they gave it away on their sites - and so on…
So, did this work? You be the judge:
a. The e-book was downloaded over 1,000,000 times when we last counted in 1998.
b. The e-book was noted by ZDNet as one of the top downloads of 1999, and is the only e-book ever to be given 5 Stars by ZDNet.
c. Experts have since written entire books about my little ploy showing people how, they too, can unleash the viral power of free e-books as traffic builders.
The point? Well, one simple viral marketing tactic put my name on the map. Granted, it was an unusually successful virus, but this was just one simple tactic…
People are still giving this book away on their sites today, and I haven’t done anything to promote it in years.
High traffic sites are always looking for new ways to spread their message virally.
3. They Turn Traffic into More Traffic
This is where most people blow it. Allow me to explain…
Whenever I consult for businesses I always teach my “Internet Marketing Battle Plan” concept and use that as the basis for everything we do. This lays the groundwork for the best marketing possible. (Side Note: I very rarely do any consulting anymore - and usually only as a favor to close friends. I just don’t have time for it - I love it, but my own Internet business is too lucrative to spend time doing anything else.)
The Internet Marketing Battle Plan is a cohesive system consisting of 5 unique tactics that represent each step of the Internet Marketing Process. All successful Internet Marketing I have encountered follows one form or another of this plan.
Step 4 is: “A Tactic for Getting People to Come Back to Your Site.”
If you’re selling a product on your site, remember that most sales are not closed the first time someone hears about a product. Obviously, getting people to come back will greatly increase your chances of closing a sale.
If you’re selling advertising on your site, clearly getting initial traffic to come back over and over again will snowball your traffic.
There are thousands of ways to do this, but you always need to have:
a. An incentive for getting them to come back.
For example, at the killertacticsjournal.com site, we entice you to come back by offering free marketing advice each week from world-leading experts. This incentive needs to be truly valuable or it won’t work.
If we offered misguided advice from self-proclaimed experts, it would not be nearly the same incentive. Instead, we offer battle tested advice from undisputed world-leading experts like Jay Conrad Levinson, Brian Tracy, Joe Sugarman, Ted Nicholas… If we didn’t offer you value each time, you just wouldn’t come back, and you wouldn’t be reading this article right now!
b. A method of informing them of the incentive.
For example, you sign up for our newsletter and we inform you whenever this new information is available. You come back and this starts the cycle again.
Can you think of other ways to inform people about your incentives? Use your imagination.
High traffic websites always keep people coming back for more.
You now have the plan - it’s up to you to put it into action. Work on all three of these secrets every single day and I assure you that your traffic will increase dramatically.

Returns had been steady since I created www.howtoproducts-xl.com back in December 2004. Steady, but not spectacular, so I decided to conduct a survey.
What I did was to mail those visitors who had taken up my freebie offer but hadn’t made a purchase. They were presented with three optional price bands for each of ten products and asked to tick the one that best reflected value for money for each individual creation.
The market spoke up and it was clear that I was in danger of over-pricing.
However, it is wise to exercise caution when playing around with your pricing structure so soon after a launch. Do it overtly and some will accuse you of being a rip-off artist; others will say you don’t know your ‘a’ from your ‘e’ (which I patently did not).
So I decided to adopt a softly-softly approach and engaged the services of a marketing specialist: the Mad Hatter.
I set him loose in my store and he returned with his alarming verdict;
“Lop 50 percent off the price of all ten products”.
Hold up, I thought, but I allowed him to proceed anyway…
The result: Returns graduated from steady to spectacular: sales on the ten products in question tripled and overall returns were up by 300 percent over a 7 day period; just peachy when you are operating on a 100 percent mark up.
That’s the beauty of selling your own personally generated intellectual properties. You can react to market forces and adjust pricing without the potentially nasty side-effects you incur when marketing other peoples’ produce.
The Mad Hatter’s strategy is available for viewing at the website featured in the resource box.

If you write web content, it may be a mystery to you as to what “works” and what doesn’t work. You want people to read what you write, but are they understanding your content or clicking away soon after stopping on your page? If the latter, you stand to lose visitors and, ultimately, sales. Let’s take a look at how you can rework your site to one that attracts and keeps visitors.
Know your audience. Unless your site is geared exclusively to the scholarly crowd, gear your words toward a younger audience. Many web content producers know that language understood by 12 and 13 year olds is much more effective for attracting and keeping guests than anything else. This takes into consideration a couple of things: not everyone who visits your site is well versed in English, but they have enough of an understanding to read at a middle school grade level. If your goal is to reach the masses, you must consider a global audience particularly an audience where English is not their native tongue. In addition, unfortunately many Americans are - to be polite - lacking in certain abilities when it comes to reading. No need to stand on your platform explaining why it is this way - it just is.
Speak to your audience. Use “you” when writing. Too much talking about yourself is not very interesting. People want to know what you can do for them. Testimonials, however, can be effective especially if it discusses a problem and the resolution to the problem is shared. Create empathy!
Short and sweet. I already violated this particular principle by writing a lengthy paragraph and by including a long sentence previously. Oh, well…live and learn! Still, many people approach the internet as something to be scanned, not read. So, include plenty of white space and split up your paragraphs. Keep your sentences short too. Mrs. Grimsley, your 8th grade English teacher might not approve, but her students today will!
Use bullets, numbers, or bold. Make what you want to say stand out by bulleting, numbering or “bolding” the beginning of your sentences. In other words, lists work very well on the internet.
Select nice fonts. I love Times New Roman, but it is best used only for print. Instead, use Trebuchet, Arial, and Verdana as they are easier on the eyes. Give your visitors eye strain and they will look away…they will probably miss something too.
Grammar and spelling. Proper use of grammar as well as being careful not to misspell are critical parts to your writing. Do not rely on spell checks and a thesaurus exclusively as they cannot pick up every misused or misapplied word.
Get an opinion. Feedback from others will help determine whether your site is readable, friendly to the eyes, easy to navigate, etc. Don’t expect criticism to always be wrapped in niceness; take what is said as constructive criticism and then apply the changes to your site.
If you are new at web content writing, it is likely that it will take some time for you to “get in the flow” of writing web content. Of course, not everyone is able to fully grasp this method, so your best option may be to hire someone who can get the job done for you instead.

Here are 8 things to consider, when evaluating lenders online:
- Website Design
- Privacy Policy
- About Us
- Popularity
- Reputation
- Short Form
- Points, Fees, Terms and Rates
- Communication
1. Website Design:
The webpage is, in fact, the storefront of the internet. In the real world, your first impressions make all the difference. Well, it’s no different on the internet.
- Does the site seem forth-right? Can you glean valuable information immediately, or does it appear that you are being pushed to click here, click there?
- Does the page load fast, indicative of a reliable server, or does it seem to take forever for everything to be displayed (or worse, are you receiving various error messages).
- Are there a ridiculous amount of pop-ups, pop-unders, and other in-your-face ad campaigns, or, does the lender simply put it all out there for you to decide?
Examine the website design, and trust your first impressions.
2. Privacy Policy:
You will likely be sharing some personal information, in exchange for loan offers. You shouldn’t be so concerned about this that it limits your ability to reach out to possible lenders. However, use your common sense.
- Does the website post its privacy policy? If so, take a quick peak at it.
- Does it seem to make sense, and is it reasonable?
Virtually all trustworthy online businesses now have posted privacy policies to both assure you of their intent, and to comply with current laws and regulations.
3. About Us:
Does the lender post an “about us” page?
- If not, this could be a red flag. In other words, the lender should take pride in its history, its vision, and its mission statement. An “about us” page is an opportunity for your lender to tell you a little bit about themselves. If you don’t see it, then what are they hiding?
- On the other hand, if you do see an “about us” page, go check it out. How long have they been in business? Where are they located? Do they post a phone number, and do they provide contact information? What are their policies and philosophies?
Reading the “about us” page can tell you tremendous information about the lender.
4. Popularity:
Take your lender’s website address, and plug it into Alexa.Com. Alexa is a tool, created by the folks at Amazon, to evaluate traffic on the internet, and to provide a venue for visitors to post critiques of websites.
- Popularity is gauged by the Alexa rating, and the lower the number, the higher the rating. For example, our site, http://loanresources.net , as of today’s date, has a 3 month average Alexa Rating of 86,517. This means that we are one of the top 100,000 websites in terms of traffic (and popularity). If we get down to let’s say 50,000, then our traffic and popularity has increased.
- You can use this tool to evaluate the traffic of your prospective lenders.
- Our advice is this: Don’t be blinded by popularity alone. There are plenty of competitive lenders and mortgage brokers out there with the highest integrity, which may not, necessarily, have a favorable Alexa rating. It doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be considered. It is simply a measurement of traffic, and that’s it. Don’t miss out on what they have to offer.
Just use popularity as one of the many tools at your disposal, when evaluating online lenders.
5. Reputation:
There are a number of ways to evaluate a lender’s reputation. Talking to friends, family, and associates, of course, is one way. Another method is to see whether or not the prospective lender is a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB at BBB.Com), and if there are any complaints on record filed against them.
- The BBB produces what’s called a “Reliability Report”, and this report will provide you with corporate information (such as name, address, phone number), BBB membership information, whether or not the lender is a participant of the “BBB Online” program, along with a complaint history, and each complaints final resolution.
- The report also states the overall rating that they give the lender. Remember we discussed earlier, that popularity is not everything? Here’s a prime example. You’d be surprised how many “popular” lenders, may in fact carry a rather lengthy BBB Reliability report filled with a variety of complaints.
- Again, just use your good, common sense, and consider reputation alongside all other factors.
Also, if you see something on the reliability report that may be concerning you, talk to your prospective lender, and see if they can give you a reasonable explanation for what happened.
6. Short-Form:
Complete an online “short form” application, and within minutes, several competitive loan offers could be making their way to you.
- Consider the short form application, when evaluating the lender. Is it short indeed, or are they asking you for way too much information?
- Be expected to share some basic information about yourself, such as name, phone number, salary information, etc., but never disclose what you feel is too personal or compromising, such as a social security number, credit card numbers, etc.
- Does the short-form make sense, is it well organized, and is it simple for you to follow and understand? This is important, because if the form is easy to complete, the lender may be saying that their whole loan process is simple and easy. On the other hand, if the form is arduous and complex, what does that tell you?
So, evaluate your comfort level with the context of each lender’s short form application online.
7. Points, Fees, Terms, and Rates:
After you complete the online short-form, prospective loan offers will almost instantly be making their way to you.
- These preliminary loan offers will present you with important information about the points, fees, terms, and rates being offered.
- This, of course, is the nuts and bolts of what you are evaluating…This is the dollars and cents of your preliminary loan offers.
- Obtain several offers, and compare them to each other.
- Who offers the best savings? Who seems too low to believe? Who is way too high to consider?
- Check the current rates and see how these offers compare. We’ve got a RateWatch set up at our website, or, you can find other resources from any search engine.
8. Communication:
After you’ve obtained several loan offers, it will be time to talk to your prospective lenders over the phone.
- Do not fear this process. Remember, you are the buyer of this product, and you are in the driver’s seat. Think of it as an interview, and you are in charge. Ask some good questions, and see if you are comfortable with the relationship forming.
- How does the lender strike you over the phone? Is it someone that you feel you could do business with, or, does the conversation seem forced and uncomfortable?
- Use the phone call to evaluate the relationship, and to obtain useful information.
- Do not make an immediate decision. Talk to 3 or 4 lenders, and then take a pause, and evaluate what you’ve learned.
Use your instincts to gauge who you worked well with, and who might present challenges down the road.
We’ve enjoyed providing this information to you, and we wish you the best of luck in your pursuits. Remember to always seek out good advice from those you trust, and never turn your back on your own common sense.

Small business marketing seems to go one of a couple of ways. Here are two basic definitions of marketing. You can decide for yourself which one you’re using to try and market and grow your business.
1. Marketing is the coordinated and systematic use of strategies and tactics to generate a consistent supply of high-quality leads for your small business.
2. Marketing is a two-step process.
It’s a good bet that you’re using definition number two to try and take your own business to the next level. Sorry, you may like the first definition better. But, experience tells me that most small businesses are subscribing to definition number two.
If you are one of those businesses, I can almost guarantee that your results are not what you’d like them to be. They can’t be because the two-step marketing approach just doesn’t work.
Are You Doing The Marketing Two-Step?
Let’s back up for a minute. Just what the heck do I mean by saying “marketing is a two-step process” anyway?
You might remember back in the early 1990’s (early in my own work career) that country music was very popular. Names like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Clint Black were topping the charts. If these names don’t sound familiar to you, that’s ok, you’ll still get the point.
This popularity of country music introduced a whole generation of people to country dancing. One very well known type of country dancing is the Texas Two-Step. The Texas Two-Step is pretty easy to learn because… well there are really only two steps. God bless Texas for naming the dance so we’d all know what we’re doing.
Unfortunately, way too many small businesses are using a two-step process. It’s the most common approach to marketing across all industries. But incredibly, it’s the most ineffective, time-wasting, energy-wasting, and money-wasting approach available.
How Does The Two-Step Work (I mean NOT work)?
Pick a marketing tool, any marketing tool- an advertisement, a brochure, a direct mail piece, a web site, promotional email, etc. It doesn’t really matter the tool so much as it does the way most small businesses try to use it.
In the two-step process, the marketing tool simply announces the product or service being offered, list a few features (maybe even some benefits), sometimes makes a special introductory or discount offer, and then list the company contact information (usually phone number and/or web site). That’s step one.
Step two is that your prospects or existing clients get so out-of-their-mind excited that they contact your right away to either buy, or they at least ask for more information about it.
Have you ever seen an ad, brochure, direct mail piece, web site, or promotional email like this? Sure you have because everybody is doing it - and there in lies part of the problem.
Back in the early nineties, it seemed like everyone was doing the Texas Two-Step. So if you weren’t learning it, you were out of step. Sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun.
Why Does Everyone Do It If It Does Not Work?
Most small business owners feel comfortable and safe doing what everyone else is doing. Part of the reasoning seems to be that ‘it must work or everybody else would not be doing it.’ But it doesn’t work. Everyone else is doing it because they’re simply looking to see what everyone else is doing.
It becomes a real vicious cycle of copying ineffective marketing ideas from everyone else. Don’t believe me? Try this little test.
Grab a handful of newspapers, business journals, chamber newsletters, and/or trade publications and scan the ads. Open up the yellow pages and scan the ads. Collect the direct mail pieces or brochures you come across in the next week. Visit a handful of your competitors’ web sites.
I’d be willing to bet that a majority of your research will reveal the company name used as the headline, a list of four or five service offerings, maybe a couple of benefit type statements or a special offer, and number to call for more information.
That’s following the ‘marketing is a two-step process’ definition. And chances are you’re following it as well. If you are, I feel confident in saying that you’re not happy with your marketing results. You simply can’t be because the two-step doesn’t work in marketing.
Make Your Marketing More Than A Two-Step Process.
What you need is a consistent, systematic approach to marketing. That means incorporating and combining the various pieces of your marketing strategies and tactics together for greater impact.
Focus on providing valuable, useful information and resources to your prospective clients that actually help them solve problems and achieve desired outcomes. Yes, I realize that is what you typically expect your clients to pay for. But, what you may not realize is that it is also the best way to attract new clients consistently.
Now realize that this is not simply offering to give away a portion of your products or services for fr~ee. That rarely works.
Allow me to illustrate with an example. Consider the difference between a two-step networking approach and a coordinated, systematic approach to networking. In a two-step approach, you go to an event and give out your card to as many people as you can meet urging them to call to “go to lunch” or “have coffee” sometime.
In a coordinated, systematic approach you go to an event and focus on making a few great connections. You ask other’s for their card and tell them that you have a recent article you’ve written that you’d love to send them. When you send the article, you let them know that if they like the information, they can download another special report off your web site when they subscribe to your fr~ee monthly ezine… I could go on, but I hope you’re beginning to see the difference.
Better Marketing Approach - Better Results.
If you’re not getting the results you crave from your current marketing approach, then it’s time to change your approach. Isn’t a popular definition of insanity ‘doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results?’ Keep doing the marketing two-step and you’ll keep getting the same disappointing results you’ve always gotten.
Don’t be fooled if one of your competitors or some other company you admire appears to be successful despite using the marketing two-step. There is most likely additional coordinated marketing activity going on that you’re simply not aware of.
Also, don’t be fooled by anyone trying to tell you that you just need to keep running your ads again and again so that you build up name recognition and brand awareness. The thought is that the repetitive exposure and awareness will build up so that eventually your target market will know you’re out there and business will start to happen. It’s a myth.
Trust me, it’s more than being persistent and putting your two-step message out there again and again that is keeping anyone from calling. You may get lucky from time to time and strike just when someone is looking for exactly what you offer, but your results won’t be consistent.
By having a coordinated, systematic approach to marketing you’re placing value on obtaining prospects. You’ll be able to generate a constant supply of high-quality leads that you can work on building up interest, credibility, and trust with until they’re ready to say ‘yes’ and begin a conversation about how you might be able to help.
That’s what an effective marketing approach can do for your business. Leave the two-step to dancing at country bars.

Messing around with a mother’s DNA or the DNA of her baby
is one of the things that can lead to a miscarriage and
birth defects. DNA tells the baby AND the mother “when to
do what”. Need a leg? Then you need some specific event
at some specific time. If the part of the DNA that controls
legs is either damaged or altered by some environmental
chemical, the leg won’t be there. And you can’t add it
later. It can only develop at one very specific time.
Fusarenon - This is a toxin that will interfere with DNA.
It is produced by several molds including:
* Aspergillus sp
* Fusarium sp
* Penicillium sp
http://www.mold-survivor.com/hidden_mold.htm
http://www.mold-help.org/fusarium.htm
Some mold toxins interfere with the hormones that regulate
the various steps of pregnancy. Hormones tell the baby when
to add what body parts. They tell mom when to pass on
timely materials to the placenta, for example.
Ask any OB/GYN how many different stages mom and baby have
to go through and he/she will tell you that they don’t
know. From conception to delivery probably a billion things
have to happen on schedule for a good birthing process.
Interfere with just one step and you run the risk of
miscarriage or birth defect.
http://www.yale.edu/ynhti/curriculum/units/1982/7/82.07.07.x.html
One example of a chemical stopping the development of a
leg or arm is the famous thalidomide problem. In the 1950’s
Thalidomide (Thalomid) was a heavily prescribed anti-anxiety
medication. Pregnancy contributes a lot of anxiety to women
so it only made sense to prescribe Thalomid. The effects
were horrible. Legs and arms were missing or underdeveloped.
I saw a man on TV who played the guitar for the Pope. But
he played the guitar with his toes because he had no hands
or even arms.
Even if your baby doesn’t have a major problem like these,
there can be deformities that aren’t visible but still
dangerous.

Mold toxins are noted for interfering with biological
processes.
Zearalenone - This is a mold toxin created by several
types of mold. This toxin mimics estrogen. By mimic we
mean it acts like estrogen. If enough of these toxins
are floating around inside the bloodstream, the body
will be very, very confused. As you well know the estrogen
is very important in the processes of getting pregnant and
carrying a baby to term. If the amounts are off before
pregnancy the woman can be infertile. If the amounts are
off after conception the baby can miscarry.

Mold can be a major factor in fertility. It can
cause babies to be lost. And it can
lead to babies with a wide variety of health
problems.

Smoking has a long tradition and history in all major countries. It is not just a personal habit. It is a part of our culture. No matter what laws are made and how many campaigns launched against it, smoking tobacco is today a very essential ingredient in the lives of many.
As a cultural trait, smoking is very well known in literature, movies, and music. The smoke-filled cafes and public houses are the first impressions noted down by travelers and writers in countries where smoking is popular. The movies too have added their touch of glamour and romance to this habit, whether it is the scenario as described above, or the gentleman smoker with his girlfriend and a cigar in one hand.
There are countries where the younger generation has taken heavily to smoking tobacco. It fills their life with some meaning, provides relaxation in difficult times, and brings two people together when they may have stayed away.
How and when smoking tobacco began is not the subject matter here, but the natural product seems to have been long known to native users. As its use spread to other countries, new ways of processing and preparing the product were invented, culminating in the modern, sleek version - the cigarette. At once handy and easily procurable from small kiosks the world over, it stands as a symbol of the modern man and for the modern world.
The ill effects of smoking or chewing tobacco are well known. These are the rallying points of the laws and the campaigns that back them up. It is indeed our responsibility to take care of our health and to know the adverse effects. The very young too need to be kept away from easy enticements. The final decision is ultimately in our hands. If life is to be lived with full meaning, than this decision must be left to the individual users - how they wish to live.

How often have you said to a your friends, “I always seem to pick guys who are bad for me.”
According to Hypnotherapy specialist Roderick Piggott, women who experience a series of broken and unequal relationships, are often suffering from issues of low self-esteem and poor self-image. This causes them to choose the wrong partners again and again.
Low self-esteem can really impact negatively on a persons quality of life, making them feel that they don’t deserve love and respect and are not fit to enjoy a proper, fulfilling relationship. Motivation levels can sink, leaving them feeling low and robbing them of any enthusiasm.
If you suffer from low self-esteem, you blame yourself for things that aren’t your fault; you underestimate your abilities, and you expect things to go wrong for you. Often, low self-esteem is associated with a range of other problems, such as lack of confidence, depression, anxiety, stress and jealousy. If you feel that your opinions and thoughts are worthless, you will find yourself unable to connect or communicate effectively with others, which can become a real issue. This can be picked up by partners, leading to a shift in the balance of a relationship, turning it into something that is unequal and disadvantageous to the weaker partner. Frequently this leads to an abusive relationship and often the cycle is repeated many times.
It simply may not be the “wrong” man that you choose, it is very probable that a partner will become frustrated and lose respect. Attitudes then change taking the relationship off course.
There are many things that might happen in life that can cause low self-esteem. It could be a traumatic childhood, maybe a respected figure in your life belittled you, perhaps failure at a career or at school, or even a lack of social life or friends. Whatever the causes, it is important to try and get your life back on track and get over these feelings of worthlessness for the sake of yourself and those around you. These negative emotions can reflect in everything you do and say, and can start to affect your whole life.
Women who realize that they need self-esteem help are often too embarrassed to admit to anyone that they have a problem, however many sufferers of low self-esteem are benefiting from hypnotherapy treatments at home, which can literally change peoples lives for the better.
Even though you may want to change the way you feel, to be confident in your thoughts and ideas, to have a sense of faith in your own abilities and know consciously that you are worthwhile and respected, your emotional subconscious mind knows different. Your mind goes back to your deepest insecurities, together with the emotions that are held alongside those memories. Your beliefs are accessed. Your conscious and subconscious mind is in conflict. The subconscious mind wins, every time because your emotions rule. You can change your beliefs by changing your emotions. Hypnosis can do this. And it is easy.
Hypnotherapy treatments work in a very natural way, People are constantly capable of change, which can happen more powerfully in an altered state. In this altered state, which we call hypnosis, suggestions to the sub-conscious mind can supply us with the feelings and emotions that go with imagination and creativity to bring about changes within your feeling system, your emotional system, and this can change your values, perceptions and beliefs. It’s what makes hypnosis an incredibly powerful means to achieve your dreams.
Your subconscious mind has the power to end your struggle with your low self-esteem. Your life will improve if you begin to believe in yourself and your abilities, you will feel respected, giving you that extra boost to increase motivation, and your enthusiasm will increase noticeably. Some people say it feels like magic because it is so easy to make powerful changes. Hypnotherapy simply allows you to access the resources you already have in your subconscious mind.

Some time ago I was savagely attacked by a bee while innocently enjoying a tipple of sherry in the living room. In the process of battling it (flailing my arms about frantically and screaming like a lunatic) the front door SLAMMED shut so hard that the lock broke instantly.
I had to call a locksmith to fix it and do you know how much he charged? £90! That’s about $160 if you’re across the atlantic by the way. He didn’t change it. He didn’t even change any of the parts. As far as I could tell he simply twiddled at it with some metal thingy (i think they call it a screwdriver) and then stuck me with a ridiculous bill. I had no option but to pay it.
The thing is I checked, and that’s the going rate for a locksmith in London. And do you know WHY they get away with charging such high rates? Because it’s a SPECIAL SKILL. Most people can’t do it.
What does this have to do with you? Absolutely everything. You see, YOUR specialist knowledge is absolutely priceless online. If you happen to be an internet business entrepreneur (like me) you can make an absolute BOMB simply by knowing more than most, and having more skills than most. Because people will pay (sometimes exorbidant sums of) cash for your specialist skills & knowledge. And the potential is even more potent in the internet arena where new techniques, systems, methods & technologies are born almost daily.
Think about that the next time you’re struggling with trying something new online. Because once you sort it out, you can probably write your own ticket by having that skill or knowledge. Here are just a few examples of the type of online specialist skills & knowledge I’m talking about:
* Creating simple websites.
* Understanding & penetrating new niche markets.
* Installing scripts.
* Creating information products & software.
* Creating graphics.
* Pulling in traffic.
* Building Opt In Lists.
* Setting up membership sites.
* Creating Audio/Video.
* Creating podcasts & RSS feeds.
* Creating high-ticket courses.
You see, just this small list of topics require SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE too. This means that like the locksmith, once you start to master them, and know where to find customers who are looking for them, you can start charging those high market prices for them yourself.
A lot of people want to earn a massive amount of money online. They want $5,000 or $10,000 online. There’s nothing wrong with that at all but if you’re starting out from scratch then it takes some time and application to develop your skills & knowledge online.
Perhaps you already have a SPECIALIST SKILL? If so, start to think about how you can market that skill online. The next section of this article looks at how and where to freelance your skills for immediate gains.
Freelancing - The Opportunities For YOU Are Endless. Here’s What To Sell, Where To Find Work & How To Set-Up A Freelancing Business Selling Your Skills Online!
It’s almost startling the way that the entire world is rushing online to conduct business. Did you know that there are an estimated 8 billion websites floating around on the world wide web? That number is going up as we speak.
It’s good news. Because as more and more people and businesses come online it creates one thing - opportunity. As the internet evolves, so does your scope for marketing your skills and services online.
So what type of skills can you market online? The answer is just about ANYTHING that you can do for someone else. I’m going to be focusing largely on online business skills today but it could just as easily be something completely different (for example making hand made crafts or creating some kind of trap that would keep Cyril and his teeth at bay for a few days).
Here are just a sample of your skills and services that you could offer to the exploding internet business market:
- Content creation.
- Website creation & maintenance.
- Graphics creation.
- Copywriting.
- Information product creation.
- Software creation.
- Search engine optimisation.
- Pay per click campaign management.
- Affiliate program management.
- Joint venture marketing.
- Market research.
- Opt in list/leads services.
- Audio/Video production.
- Accounts/Excel/Word skills.
- Access database skills.
I could just as easily keep going for AGES with additional services & skills that you could charge for (and that are in great demand). For now, lets talk a little about the sort of prices that you could charge for your skills. Here are some averages I found for you:
For WRITING Services (copywriting, transcriptions, reports) - Average price of $376 per project.
For DESIGN Services (book/cd covers/photo editing) - Average price of $264 per project.
For PROGRAMMING Services (C++ and other geeky type languages) - Average price of $1,030 per project.
For OTHER services (including lead generation, video editing, word processing, excel skills) - Average price of $780 per project.
Do YOU have any skills that could be used by the billions of businesses seeking them? Why not find out? Visit the elance site below:
www.elance.com
You’ll find out exactly what skills are sought after - and if you happen to have them you could start bidding on projects and start creating an additional stream of in come by offering your services.
To your immediate success,
